The

Mackreth

Story

I am the kind of person that loves parties.

And I love hosting them more than attending them.

I blame my mom for that.

Growing up there were always people at our dining table – enjoying good food, reveling in spirited conversations, and keeping the party going as long as each of them could stay awake. Because everyone knows…when the first person whispers, “it’s time to head home. The morning comes early,” the sacred party bubble has burst.

These are my most cherished memories – the rise and fall of conversation became the soundtrack of joy.

Just before the night reaches its bitter end the experience feels suspended in time - laughing around a dinner table, moving to “soft chairs,” kicking off the shoes you’ve worn just long enough to pass as acceptable and grabbing another bottle of wine to open as a new chapter to the story begins at an even higher decibel.

This moment is the essence of The Mackreth. You know exactly the moment I’m talking about. You’ve experienced it, and it’s tattooed in your memory.

There’s no real reason why some experiences have the sticking power and others don’t. But I wager to bet that it’s all about the chemistry of the people in the room. The Mackreth was conceived with the desire to be the backdrop to the experiences that stick around and the memories that make you smile in the quiet moments.

The Mackreth is about you. And celebrating the small things in your life with just as much gusto as the big things

Here’s the thing: The Mackreth isn’t just a house you can rent for parties, baby showers, intimate fundraising dinners, or bridal luncheons. It’s an intimate retreat getaway for your leadership team. It’s the statement wallpaper (you know the one when you see it) that is the perfect backdrop for your music video or commercial. It’s the swivel chairs in the noir room that set the comfort and ease for your latest podcast guest, and it’s the onsite parking for a dozen cars without any concern.

This house is truly what you need it to be. Honestly – that’s a rarity. And we, at The Mackreth, want to help make your experience – regardless of what it is – one that leaves you wanting more. More time with your favorite people. More snaps with the camera, and more recording time.

Cheers to your next great experience,

Anna Beavon Gravely
